Q1. When will the Road Harbour Crossing Fees be added to the fare?
A1. The Road Harbour Crossing Fees will only be calculated if driver-partners have driven past the toll point within the toll operating hours as stated on the Transport Department website
For Metered Taxi driver partner, you are required to manually add on all the toll fees incurred during the trip to the Extras field before ending the ride.

Q2. Are all toll charges accurate and can I make changes to the toll fees?
A2. For the Road Harbour Crossing fees, the charges are estimated based on driver's GPS routing of trip and thus would include any Road Harbour Crossing fee when you drive through an Road Harbour Crossing toll point.

A3. Road Harbour Crossing Fee are based on the driver’s GPS routing of a trip and thus would include any Road Harbour Crossing Fee when you drive through an Road Harbour Crossing toll point

Q4. Will there be surge pricing during peak periods?
A4. Yes, fares are priced slightly higher during peak periods when demand is high.

Q5. The rider made a booking for 2 stops. How do I charge the rider?
A5. You need not add any additional charge to the rider at the end of the trip. If the rider has made a booking for 2 stops, the reflected flat fare would have already incorporated an additional $20 charge for the extra stop as well as the distance and time fares for the additional journey.

Q6. What happens if my vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident?
A6. In such situations, the trip will be marked as incomplete.
Any trip fare collected/charged for the trip will be refunded back to the rider.
All driver-partners should send their vehicles for regular maintenance and practice safe driving at all times.

Q7. Will drivers know the passenger's destination before accepting the ride?
A7. The destination is shown to drivers before drivers accept the ride.
In the event that the passenger makes a taxi metered-fare booking, the passenger has a choice to not indicate their destination.

Q8. Is the toll fee included in the fare?
A8. Toll fees are already included in your Ride Fare.
For a Metered Taxi driver partner, you are required to manually add on all the toll fees incurred during the trip to the Extras field before ending the ride.

Q9. Is the fare a fixed fare? Why does it show 'est. fare' in the app?
A9. The fare shown is a fixed fare. However, as the fare excludes surcharge and miscellaneous fees incurred during the trip, we indicated it as 'est fare' in the app.
Toll fees are already included the fare if it is incurred during the trip

Q10. Why is there an additional $10 at the platform fee column for cash trips?
A10. As cancellation fees could be incurred by passengers who booked a cash trip, we will need each and everyone’s help to collect these fees back for your fellow drivers. The fees will be shown separately from your trip fare, similar to how platform fees are currently shown.
If you see “+ $8/+$9" next to your fare, please remember to collect $18 or $19 ($8/$9 platform fee and $10 cancellation fee) in addition from the passenger as this amount will be deducted from your balance after the trip ends.
Passengers will always see a [Total fare] when they book their trip (Trip Fare + Platform Fee + cancellation Fees) so don’t be alarmed when they pass you more cash than expected.
In the unlikely event that the passenger asks, please inform them that their trip fare is inclusive of a cancellation fee which they have incurred from a previous cancellation and that they can check with our team after their trip is completed for any clarification.
